How teachers see each student's TTS voice preference

Voice + pronunciation badges on the My Students roster — no guesswork.

Where to see it

Teacher Admin → My Students. Each student card now shows up to 3 badges:

The 3 badges

  • 🔊 Voice (cyan) — e.g. "us female", "uk female", "kid friendly". Set by parent.
  • 🗣️ Pronunciation hint (amber) — e.g. "SHYAO-ming". Either parent OR teacher can set.
  • 🙊 Name skipped (grey) — parent or teacher chose to omit the name from AI praise.

What this means in class

When you trigger any AI audio cue ("Good job, {{student_name}}!"), our TTS endpoint reads the student's voice preference + pronunciation hint automatically. Teacher doesn't need to think about it — system handles routing.

When teacher voice cloning meets student preference

Special case: if the student's `tts_voice = teacher-clone` AND you (the teacher) have cloned your voice in Voice Cloning tab, the AI praise plays in YOUR actual voice instead of a generic one. Best of both worlds.
