Adding a student (full flow with FAQ)

The 2 paths to add a student, plus what happens to the pronunciation hint, voice preference, and AI praise.

Path 1: Self-serve via class code (recommended)

1. Teacher Admin → My Class Code → Copy join URL (looks like https://classlingos.com/join/READY-MARIA42)
2. Send it to the parent via WhatsApp/email
3. Parent clicks → enters email → enters child's first name + birth year
4. Child auto-appears in your Teacher Admin → My Students list
⚡ The parent owns the account. They set voice preference + pronunciation hint themselves.

Path 2: Manual add (when you have the data)

1. Teacher Admin → My Students → Add Student
2. Enter first name, parent email, parent name, CEFR level, notes
3. (NEW) Optional: Name pronunciation hint OR tap Skip
4. The parent doesn't need to sign up — but they won't see the parent dashboard until they do

What about pronunciation + voice preference?

If the parent self-signs (Path 1), THEY set the voice and pronunciation hint in their Parent Home. The teacher sees what they picked as a badge on the student card (🔊 UK Female · 🗣️ SHYAO-ming).

If you manually add and skip the pronunciation

The AI praise just says "Good job!" without the name. Teacher OR parent can come back and fill it in anytime — both can edit the same field.
