Effective: February 2026
Acceptable Use Policy
§11. Permitted
Create and deliver interactive presentations to your students. License content you create (Lifetime tier only) to other educators. Use AI tools for stated purposes.
§21A. You Own Your Lessons
The original lessons, decks, worksheets, and dialogues you create are yours. ClassLingos does not claim ownership of your teaching content and will never sell it or train competing models on it. We hold only a limited license to host, store, and deliver it so you can teach. See the Terms (clause 2A) for the full ownership and license terms.
§32. Prohibited
(a) Operating unlicensed academic tutoring where prohibited by law. (b) Uploading unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or obscene content. (c) Reverse-engineering, scraping, or training competing AI on our outputs. (d) Impersonating ClassLingos staff or users. (e) Circumventing tier limits or access controls. (f) Sharing your password with others (including AI assistants). (g) Automated account creation (multiple emails, bot signups). (h) Using our outputs to train competing models or build derivative SaaS.
§43. Anti-Bot & Anti-Abuse Detection
We use Cloudflare Turnstile and behavioral analytics to detect automated abuse. Accounts flagged as bots, credential-stuffing victims, or scraping operations will be suspended for review. Appeals: abuse@classlingos.com.
§54. Reporting
Email abuse@classlingos.com. 48-hour response.
§65. Your Devices & Teaching Freedom
You may teach from any device you choose — laptop, desktop, tablet, or phone. The pre-class system/device check is an optional convenience to help you confirm your camera, mic, and connection; it is never required and never blocks you from starting a class. Device policies you set apply only to your own students, at your discretion.
§76. Email & Messaging Conduct
Teacher email tools (parent comms, mass email, voice notes, away/holiday messages) may be used ONLY to contact your own students and their parents/guardians who reasonably expect to hear from you. You must not send unsolicited bulk email (spam), must honor unsubscribe/opt-out requests, and must keep messages relevant to your teaching. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and is sent on shared ClassLingos infrastructure — abusive sending (spam complaints, purchased lists, deceptive subjects) may result in your email tools being suspended to protect deliverability for all teachers.
§87. Regional Compliance
Subscribers operating from/into China are solely responsible for compliance with 2021 Double Reduction Policy (双减).
